Then Vrsar is just right for you! Vrsar is a small town with only 1700 inhabitants on the west coast of the Istrian peninsula. Once a small fishing village, it has preserved its its Mediterranean characte and charm. Vrsar is located on a beautiful headland bordering Lim Channel. Off the coast of Vrsar is an archipelago of eighteen small, uninhabited islands that are densely overgrown with Mediterranean plants. A sight that you will not forget! 

With its picturesque harbor and historic center, Vrsar enchants vacationers from all over the world every year. This region used to be the marble and fishery center of Istria. Vrsar is therefore known as the "City of Marble". Above the park on the northwest slope you will find a series of impressive sculptures. As early as 1961, a campsite for naturists was built on Koversada Island. Today Vrsar is a well-known nudist resort. The beaches are particularly clean and well maintained in this region, the crystal blue waters of the Adriatic Sea are a dream. Another special feature in this region is the two-part city. On one side is the waterfront, on the other hand, the hilly old town. One has the feeling that the time has stopped fifty years ago. But there are also a large number of renovated old town houses. In Vrsar already in the twelfth century bishops from Porec spent their holidays in summer residences. Vrsar has an interesting story. Relics of old villas and mosaic finds point to the formative Roman period. In the Middle Ages, the city was surrounded by a city wall, of which today still exist the city gates. The parish church of St. Martin represents the highest point of Vrsar and offers a beautiful view over the city. Right next to the parish church is the Palazzo Edbesorsa. A magnificent building that also served as the summer residence of the bishops. A visit to the sculpture park, in which limestone sculptures are exhibited, is definitely recommended.
